I am very happy and proud to be a part of this initiative by Uschi Rothwangl, with the focus on reviving the village center of the place where I grew up. Through this project, life moves back to the center and communication is encouraged. 

My first and BIGGEST solo exhibition will open on the 27th of February, 6:30pm (18:30) at the FLUGHAFENGALERIE GRAZ!

The Photo Graz Selection V will have

it´s next stop at Galerija Zuccato in Croatia. (Opening: 12.10./20:00)

I will be showing a new textile work in progress at the Angewandte Festival within the group show `Diagrams for the Imagination´, an exhibition curated by our professor Jenni Tischer. 

You will find the exhibition at the Angewandte library. The festival takes place from the 27th to the 30th of June.

The group show `Back to Black´ from Photon Galerija (Ljubljana) will be shown at the Rotlicht Festival of Analogue Photography in Vienna. 

I am very happy to invite you to my next solo-show, titled "ON REPEAT", which will open at the TEXTILGALERIE in Vienna (Gentzgasse 112, 1180) at the 15.10. / 6pm or 18:00. 

I will be showing my newest drawings on textile and paper.

`Junge Wilde und arrivierte Profis, Individualist:innen und Kollektive, inter:nationale Preisträger:innen und local heros – die steirische Fotoszene ist ein lebendiges Kaleidoskop unterschiedlichster Persönlichkeiten. Für die Ausstellung zur Steirischen Fotobiennale 2022 wurden von einer internationalen Jury aus über 200 Einreichungen 150 Positionen ausgewählt. Ob Analog-Enthusiast:innen oder digital natives, rund 400 Arbeiten der Jahrgänge 1932-2003 zeigen, welche Themen drei Generationen von Fotokünstler:innen bewegen, lassen aktuelle Tendenzen erkennen und bieten ein facettenreiches Spiegelbild unserer Gegenwart.´

This group show is the last one out of a cycle of all together four shows under the theme `Das Wesen der Kunst´, organized by Kulturverein KULM. It will reflect on topics such as metamorphosis and transformation.
I am also happy to announce that my work will be part of a publication, accompanying this exhibition. The catalogue will be presented at the Finissage!

`As part of the group exhibition Back to Black, we are organising a series of interesting side events. The first one – a talk and presentation of the Austrian participants of the exhibition – is titled Analogue Austria and will take place this Thursday, May 19th at 17:00. The Austrian participants, Lena Feitl from Graz and Alessandra D’Intino from Vienna, will be joined by Dino Rekanović, director, and Kati Bruder, program director of Rotlicht – the new festival of analogue photography in Vienna, which has just opened its call for participants.´

`The Back to Black project is set up as an international project in which Photon joins the global trend of reviving interest in black-and-white, analog and the so-called hybrid photography, and especially in contemporary, creative use of old photographic techniques.´

I am beyond happy to tell you that I just had my first artist interview ever with

Les Nouveaux Riches, an amazing viennese Art&Culture Magazine. We talked about inspiration, process and nature.

As of now there are six works from my newest series available at the viennese gallery Kunst ab Hinterhof!

The works are 18x24cm each (Gesso (primer) and watercolor/pencil on wood) and have a nice sculptural effect due to their elevation from the wall. 

Due to Covid-19, the next exhibition stop of the Photo Graz Selection III - showcasing four works by me - in Istanbul unfortunately can't take place. Therefore the Kulturvermittlung Steiermark set up an online exhibition space, where everyone can experience the works from afar. Have a look, it's really great!
