FLÜGEL

The starting point of the “Wings” series of works was the observation of the fragile lines of an insect wing, which manifested itself in a detailed drawing and grew into a multi-layered structure of different works. While the starting point has been very specific, the high level of abstraction of the resulting works allows for many possible interpretations, such as the analogy of the drawing lines to flight routes, which form a network across the entire globe and connect many places and open up possibilities.

The work was designed in close context to the Airport Gallery Graz, where the works were also exhibited. (see pictures below)
