Throughout art history, the ephemeral color blue has been used in various contexts, from depictions of sky and sea to the portrayal of sadness.
It´s subtle, yet powerful presence has always spoken to me. 
The concept of "in-betweenness" weaves through every work I create. Consequently, the so-called "blue hour" - the transition of sunset just before total darkness takes over - serves as a core inspiration for this body of work. This is further mirrored in foggy landscapes, where shapes are merely felt rather than seen, as well as in the cyclical movement of tides.
Emerging from my ongoing Fragments of Being series, this overall work consists of numerous individual pieces. They are deeply intertwined with one another, yet remain strong and complete when presented own their own.
