In this work I explore once again the complex topic of transience.

The light travels through the room, I document it on the one hand via polaroid camera and on the other hand I try to capture it in drawings by marking the shapes and then piercing the paper with a needle. The resulting drawing can optionally be illuminated by using a light source and the captured moment can be artificially recreated.

While the image of the `original´ moment slowly but surely fades, the drawing, which shows a distorted representation of the moment, remains.
